What effects does setting FileSystemName to NTFS have?


Third-party applications that detect that they're working with an NTFS-formatted volume may attempt to use certain NTFS features, including those that are not fully supported by CBFS Connect (e.g., UCS Journal), or even undocumented features. So if your virtual drive reports itself as having an NTFS filesystem, it's possible that such applications will fail to work correctly.
